This weekend, one of our amazing team members reached a huge milestone, and we couldn't be more proud!
We have been lucky to have Mason as part of the Artist for a Day family since the fall of 2023. During his time with us, he has consistently shown what it means to be dependable, hardworking, and kind. Whether it's helping customers, jumping into a new studio project, assisting with improvements around the studio, or stepping in when we need an extra hand, Mason is always willing to help however he can.
His positive attitude, responsibility, and strong work ethic have made him an invaluable part of our team. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has contributed over the past couple of years.

Last night’s clay class was such a fun one! Everyone started with the same basic lump of clay, but by the end of the night each piece had completely transformed into its own unique animal creation. It was so fun watching every artist add their own style, expressions, and little details to bring their animals to life.

Glaze day = messy, satisfying, and so important behind the scenes ✨🪣
Every few weeks, our clear glaze bucket gets a full refresh to keep your pottery smooth, shiny, and food safe after firing. Yesterday’s job started with scraping away all the dried glaze buildup and soaking the bucket overnight to loosen anything left behind.
Today: deep clean time. ✔️ Scrubbed the bucket inside & out ✔️ Cleaned the glaze sink area ✔️ Mixed a fresh batch of clear glaze ✔️ Added distilled water + tested consistency ✔️ Prepped everything for the next round of kiln pieces
Once the glaze is just right, the dipping begins 🤍 There’s something so satisfying about taking painted pottery from “almost done” to kiln-ready!

Today, as the studio is filled with families making memories together, I’m reflecting on my own family and the way they’ve shaped my life.
I run this studio with my mom and my youngest sister, and my daughter works here now too. Building a creative space surrounded by family is one of the most comforting and meaningful parts of this journey. Working with my mom has been such a gift — not only as mother and daughter, but as best friends.
I’m also so thankful that my parents believed in me enough to take a chance on this dream. Art has always been part of who I am, and four years later, we’re still going strong.
This Mother’s Day is especially emotional as we miss both of our grandmothers for the first time. I’m carrying so much gratitude today for the strong, loving women in my family and for the community we’ve built — a place where families can come together, create, and make special memories. Thank you!

We made clay wall pockets, and honestly one of the best parts was sitting around together brainstorming all the different ways to personalize them. 🌿✨ From flowers and textures to fun little details, everyone came up with such cute and creative ideas — no two were alike!
One of my favorite things about these classes is getting to create alongside so many wonderful people and seeing everyone’s personalities come through in their artwork. I love the conversations, the laughter, and watching ideas come to life. 💛
Now we wait for them to be bisque fired, and I seriously can’t wait to see how each one looks once they’re painted!
